It can drive you mad if you think too deep. Lola Young doesn't run away from that fact with her personally confronting new single - "Intrusive Thoughts". Music & most art forms can always be therapy. For there is history of tortured souls who express their most important battles on the page, wax, screen, and/or canvas over the years. Allows for the audience to possibly connect and see themselves within the art. Which is a beautiful thing.
This song makes her determination to fight back a strong story of strength and growth. Lola uses these dark themes to hopefully conquer them... at least, for the moment.
