34th Song of the Year: "Change Shapes" by Lauren Mayberry

Can't really put into words how happy I am with Lauren Mayberry's solo trek so far. Her first three of singles - "Are You Awake?", "Shame", and now "Change Shapes" - all feel distinct from each other while also differentially themselves from those past CHVRCHES projects. You can tell how much "fun" Lauren sounds like she's having on this somewhat classically strange pop single. 

Makes me excited for her impending solo release hopefully by the end of 2024!
