New Year... Same Us, after the break!
How's it going y'all?! Happy New Year!
Been quite quiet on That Buzzing Sound all month long, which was kind of on purpose. Gave my Favorite Albums of 2024 post plenty time to ooze & digest. Now let's move forward, press on, and continue this decade plus long music soundtrack!
Last week I cleared off much of my 2024 Apple Music favs to make room for this new saga. I'm still building a listening pattern. Started off with j-pop prodigy tuki's brand new album '15', Logic's 'Aquarius III' EP, and handful of singles from Teddy Swims, Whatever The Weather, VUKOVI, Enemy Inside, TOKiMONSTA, Benjamin Booker, and the late-great fondly remembered Mac Miller. All of whom are represented in this month's playlist below!
Will I trend more towards pop, rock, hip hop, EDM, or metal by the end of the year? Hoping for the latter. Gotta try my best not to be obsessed by The Weeknd either. January 30th needs to "Hurry Up"!
Been accomplishing way more ever since I've pulled away from checking social media constantly after work. Really love watching more movies (mostly comedy classics), TV shows (rewatching Matt Smith's Doctor Who run)... all while playing new tunes. Happy to beam energy towards meaningful aspects that are usually clouded by the constant time-consuming internet noise. Recommend you try it. Changed my perspective for the better.

The inbox has been cleaned, music services scoured, and prepared to help this listener walk towards the uncertain future. Don't overthink things too much. That's my New Years Rezzy!
