Welcome to ThatBuzzingSound.com, a (somewhat) curated music blog featuring the soundtrack & adventures of my life! Which used to have a Podcast!
I've been music blogging since 2008* when "An Experiment into Light & Sound" turned into "Bored 4 Music" here on Blogger. That journey had many twists, turns, ups, downs, and evolutions throughout the years. What started out as a fun hobby of sharing New Music Everyday & capturing the SoCal Concert Scene ended up burning so bright that we eventually collapsed in 2016.

However, I truly missed blogging and returned with That Buzzing Sound on Tumblr in January 2017. My passion for featuring new music daily and artist discovery began to bloom once more as I focused on finding a workflow balance before a world changing event hit in 2020. Then... I created a Podcast to help during those lockdown days. Couldn't be more prouder that I followed through with all my concepts. At least once. That series remains a testament to that original goal.
Yes, I do plan on making more episodes... one day.
Now, in 2026... 10 years after my last burnout... I'm truly happy with all the content being published regularly from our buzzworthy Monthly Mixtape Playlist which continues to create my life's soundtrack while showcasing artists from across the globe, alongside memorable SoCal Concert Showcases & deeply personal Travel Journals, to long-forgotten memories!
To finally find balance in my favorite hobby took an age. Now it all feels so effortless.
This blog is the only window to my life (music and otherwise) and hope our on-going soundtracks & adventures entertain all who stop by!
