Liberated, after the break!
Greetings! How's life? Hope all is well with you dear reader! Currently working as I watch Peacock's "Olympic Gold Zone". That program is doing one heck of a job so far. Haven't missed a moment.
In other news... I have overcome another illness! Feeling 100x better after taking a break from the site. Visited two concert showcases at the Hollywood Bowl alongside Big Sis since and can't wait to showcase them here when I formally return. Did mean to visit the Getty last Saturday for their "Off the 405" series but forgot to pick up tickets and they were sold out when I remembered. I'll do better in August.
Still gonna pace myself the rest of this week as the Summer season is nearing an end. Dealing with family and personal stuff in the background so I doubt you won't hear from me for a few weeks. Once the school year begins, I'll be locked in. Promise.
I've been obsessed with Childish Gambino's 'Bando Stone and The New World' these past few weeks. It is an album that continues to make a hard argument for my Favorite Album of 2024. If this is how the Gambino story ends... then it is a remarkable story to go out on. Wanted to share the Music Video for "Lithonia" below but the short film ends too abruptly. Be sure to watch it here if you're interested. The official hard rock emo anthem makes me howl loudly whenever it touches my eargums.
