[1st Song of the Day] "The Christmas Song" by Teddy Swims

Merry Christmas & Happy Hanukkah everyone!

Been awhile since I spent time in this place. The day job has taken almost all my energy this month. Felt accomplished in these recent changes. Haven't held a full time gig in over 7 years. Really got in the flow. Even reached my old "workaholic" stress level one day. Took a step back ever since then. Don't want him to ever appear again. Work deserves to be a fun experience. For everyone.

I have missed spending time in this space. Can't wait to produce a bunch of new blurbs over this winter break! My author's heart is burning like never before. Sometimes breaks from your passion are a good thing. That's New Year power! A make-believe starting point for a new age. As long as you believe it is.

Today's special 1st Song trails away from my normal Michael Bublé Christmas post. You see... Teddy Swims' 'A Very Teddy Christmas' EP has been constantly spinning since this month began and I fell head over heels for his rendition of "The Christmas Song" immediately. Has such great pacing. Makes this Holiday standard sound quite modern. Exactly what I needed to close this affirming year.

Enjoy this track & these days. Hold them close. For tomorrow starts another new age. More music soon!
