A new series begins, after the break!
Greetings! Happy Monday!
Just so you know, That Buzzing Sound's "Songs of the Year" series for 2024 has been paused so I can try out an entirely new weekly feature. Our music playlists - whether shared via Spotify or YouTube - have all done quite well over the years. So I decided to experiment before reaching a busy summer.
Come back each Monday for a new jam-packed Curated Playlist featuring all the songs I'm currently obsessed with. They might be from big artists, recommendations from the algorithm, or the buzzworthy folks that explode my inbox each week.
"volume.01" contains songs I hoped to feature on our End of the Month playlist. So you'll see my favorite tracks from the Kendrick Lamar/Drake Beef before the buzzworthy cuts. Now that the light is burning bright on Drizzy, it's only a matter of time until the truth shines through. A fantastic way to begin a new era of features.
So what's gonna fill in the weekday blanks? I don't have a clue yet... sorry! Maybe more Album Spotlights? Our readers seem to like those hefty blurbs. Might bring back the journalistic 1st Song of the Day posts more often? Can never stop talking about myself.
